I like the overall feeling you have started here, but there are some problems.
Lots of missing elements:

Map (SMALL!!!)
MHCC logo
All of which can go on the inside panel with the hours.
On the schedule side, it’s unclear which event the reception dates go with. Make that relationship clearer.
I wouldn’t use the left edge to line up your type, keep it flush left like the center column.
I like the large type, and the texture is a good idea BUT you are relying too much on the font to make it happen. The font is not designed to be this large, so the texture ends up being super low rez too consistent.
Choose a different crisp font and draw the texture your self. OR use a different texture masked in the shapes.
Lose the wacky font for the headers (gallery hours and schedule) it has nothing to do with the rest of the design!
